World Autism Awareness Week is a huge part of helping us work towards our vision of creating a world which recognises, understands and values autistic people. World Autism Awareness Week is a chance for you to join in the fun, raising some much-needed funds and awareness of autism in your school, workplace or organisation in the process.
How can you get involved?
Join us for our annual #SillySockDay: By donning your most ridiculous socks you, your workplace or your School can help support autistic individuals across the East Midlands by raising funds and awareness. We’d love to see what you get up to, so be sure to share images of your fetching footwear on social media! You can do this by using #SillySockDay and tagging us in your post.
Fundraise your own way: Got a great fundraising idea? Why not get in touch and we can help you to make that idea a reality. We will support you to not only raise invaluable funds for Autism East Midlands but also help you to create wonderful memories in the process. So if its just a bake sale or you want to take on the difficult Three Peaks Challenge, get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of the team will look after you throughout your fundraising journey.
Fundraise in your School or Workplace: Gather your friends or colleagues together have fun and raise invaluable funds as well as awareness of autism. Fun and creative ideas are always welcome and our fundraising team can help to maximise your fun and educate all involved along the way.
