Autism East Midlands are delighted to announce that The Inner Wheel Club of Warsop have raised a fantastic £6,723.34, from a variety of events across the past year, including a Masquerade Ball, Fashion Show and P Party.
President Helen Tomlinson chose Autism East Midlands as she wanted to raise awareness of autism and the charity, who support families affected by autism locally. At the beginning of the year she told Autism East Midlands of her enthusiasm to spend the year fundraising for the charity:
“I have chosen Autism East Midlands as my charity. I hold this cause close to my heart as many people close to me have been affected by the challenges of Autism and the whole spectrum can bring. The support that is given by Autism East Midlands to so many families is one that should never be taken lightly and I look forward to being able to support them during my year.”
Since Helen chose Autism East Midlands the Ladies of The Inner Wheel Club of Warsop have raised £6,723.34 through a wide variety of events beginning with a stall at the local Summer Carnival, hosting a Fashion Show, dressing up at a P Party, putting on a Christmas Fayre and ending dramatically with a spectacular Masquerade Ball.
Autism East Midlands would like to take this opportunity to thank the generous support of The Inner Wheel Club of Warsop, the money raised will go far in supporting families touched by autism within the area.
