On 23 September the East Midlands will see its first Autism Friendly Festival as Spectrum Festival comes to Lea Green Development Centre, near Matlock. The festival has been created by David Ryan and Chris Wright of corporate treasure hunt company peaksGO, with the support of Autism East Midlands.
There will be a huge range of activities available to festival goers on the day, all of which are autism friendly, these activities include:
Silent Disco, Music Stage, Information marquee, Sensory spaces, Quiet spaces, Workshops, Arts and crafts, Inflatables including bouncy castle, High & Low ropes course, Skyline accessible ropes course, Team swing, Climbing tower, Buggies, Indoor cave (bouldering), Frisbee golf, Problem solving games, Soft play.
