Autism East Midlands have been working with Leicester County Council to launch a new ‘Autism Friendly’ project for children and their parents / carers at one of their Heritage sites, the “1620’s House and Gardens”. This is an eight week project which will be launched on the 24 July 2018 and runs until the 21 August.

The project will be aimed at children aged 11-16 years of age and their parents / carers and will combine a focus on social skills, learning, heritage and volunteers. It will provide a safe social environment, for Children with Autism where they can meet new people, explore their strengths and interests and engage in Heritage.
