Teresa Parr, Club treasurer and event’s organiser commented:
Each season the Earl of Harrington angling club chooses a local charity to support Autism East Midlands is close to the heart of committee and club members who have family members and friends affected with autism. During the last year the club have held a number of fundraising activities including sales of fishing tackle, club matches, raffles and the annual fancy dress match at Allestree Lake.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the generous support of The Earl of Harrington’s Angling Club, the money raised will go far in supporting families touched by autism within the area.
