Robin Hood Half Marathon

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. It is also the largest charity fundraising event in the City raising over £320,000 for charity in 2019.

The course itself is great for both seasoned runners and beginners alike – for beginners whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long-distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time. It is a single lap 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic-free course. The race starts and finishes in Victoria Embankment and is undulating so not all flat, there are a couple of inclines at the start of the route when your legs are more up for it (mile 2, 4 and 6).

Minimum Sponsorship: £150

Mini Marathon

We also have 10 places for the Robin Hood Mini Marathon. You can run or walk the 1.5 mile (2.5km) Mini Marathon route, the route largely follows the beautiful river Trent and finishes in front of huge crowds in the race village.

Minimum Sponsorship: £150

Details: To apply for a free place in either the Half or Mini marathon then please contact the fundraising team by emailing fundraising@autismeastmidlands.org.uk
