Sutherland House School have achieved the School Games GOLD LEVEL Mark Award for the 2024/25 academic year

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

Our sporting achievements this year include:

  • 18 offsite Sports tournaments and events attended
  • 28 pupils involved in these events
  • 8 students achieved Level 1 Bike ability Award
  • 2 students achieved OCR Entry Level PE
  • 4 students achieved the Level 1 Sports Leaders Award
  • 4 students attended Level Sports Leaders workshop
  • 21 students achieved the PE Life Skills Award
  • 5 students completing Bronze DofE
  • 3 students completing Silver DofE
  • 40 students attending swimming sessions each week

A special thanks to all of the parents who have supported the school, the staff involved in supporting the students with these opportunities, and of course all of the students who participated and displayed fantastic effort, resilience and sportsmanship.
