"Writing an autistic lead in such a place seemed inconceivable at the time – an autistic teenager who could inspire both fear and respect – but it came so easily that I wondered why I hadn’t been writing characters like Ash from the beginning."
Wren is a user of our employment service and their debut novel Threads of the City will be launching on November 8.
They spoke to us about the book and how our employment service gave them the support they needed.
