Our Sherwood Centre at Mansfield Woodhouse recently marked VE Day, hosting a tea party for all its service users.
Many service users got involved in celebrations at the Sherwood Centre, which included:
- Serving jam scones
- Enjoying plentiful cups of tea
- Decorating the centre in flags
It wasn't all food and decoration though!
Service users also enjoyed a quiz which was themed around the day.
Sarah Mcilvenna, Assistant Manager of the Sherwood Centre, said "they all really enjoyed themselves" and we were proud to support our service users to mark this day in history.
