Whitegates throws Summer party for AEM service users

Service users from across our services came together for a summer-themed party and barbeque at Whitegates respite service.

Staff at our Whitegates respite service arranged a party and barbeque that brought the people we support together from services across the East Midlands for a summer party.

Many of our service users attended, many of them in summer-themed outfits and they enjoyed the chance to socialise - the lovely weather certainly helped lift spirits.

We're so grateful to all the staff who organised the event and to our Lead Painter & Decorator Matt Riley who hung up his paintbrush for the afternoon to cook burgers for over 150 people!

We had a wonderful time, and we can't wait for the next time we get to do it all over again.
