We make delicious gourmet popcorn. We also have an important social mission: provide jobs for autistic people who might find it hard to get work. We are looking for a careful and focused Production Assistant to join our team in Worksop. If you like clear tasks, have a good eye for detail, and want your work to help others, please read on.
What You'll Be Doing:
This job is about making our popcorn. You'll follow clear steps to create our tasty snacks. Your main tasks will include:
- Making Popcorn: Using our machines to make popcorn. This means measuring ingredients precisely and following recipes exactly. You'll make sure each batch is ready to be sold.
- Adding Flavours: measuring and adding flavours and seasonings to the popcorn.
- Packing Popcorn: Neatly weighing, putting popcorn into bags, and sealing them. You'll make sure the packaging looks good and is secure.
- Keeping Things Clean: Keeping your work area very clean and tidy. You'll follow all food safety rules.
- Working with the Team: Working alongside other team members. We aim for a calm and helpful atmosphere.
- You do not need previous experience in food production. We will provide full training and clear guidance for the right person.

- Good at Following Instructions: You can follow steps and rules accurately.
- Focus on Detail: You notice small details, especially when following recipes or packing products.
- Reliable: You are dependable and complete your tasks as expected.
- Hands-on Work: You enjoy practical tasks.
- Physical Ability: You are comfortable standing for periods and can lift moderate weights (20-25kg).
- Works Well with Others: You can work alongside colleagues in a structured environment.
- Interest in Our Mission: Shares our values of a world that recognises, understands and values autistic people.
