Sutherland House School is getting set for their big summer fair, which is due to take place on 12th July.

Much work is going on behind the scenes this week by teachers and students to make sure the day runs smoothly.

A wide variety of activities has been planned for the day with each class taking responsibility for their own stalls.

In the Hall the following activities are planned:

  • Class 1 – T shirt decoration and craft stall
  • Class 6 and 5 – food and drink stall plus “guess how many Legos in the jar”?
  • Class 4 – Photo frame stall
  • Class 10 – Face painting and music
  • Class 9 – Bookmarks and Bracelets stall
  • Music Man will also be in the Hall to entertain

In the Library there will be a games table with the opportunity to play Pokeman games.

In the Courtyard there will be:

  • Class 11 – Smoothies and wet sponge game
  • Class 8 – Hook a duck stall
  • Class 7 – Sensory play activity

Students and visitors will be able to take a look around an art exhibition in the training room. And a dance session will be held in the dining room for parents, students and staff.

In addition, there will be a visit by the fire service with the chance to take a look around the fire engine. A representative from an adventure service will also be there on the day to talk to parents about the activities they offer.
