Our Autism East Midlands training team recently delivered a quacking good Autism Awareness Training session at Puddleducks Pre-school

Trainers Alice and Ebony delivered the training over an afternoon, offering three hours of Autism Awareness Training.

Most staff will recognise our trainers from our induction and refreshers training, but our team also delivers Autism Awareness training to organisations looking to demonstrate best practice as an autism-friendly organisation.

Our team also ensured that elements of the training were tailoured to best support pre-school staff, with trainers remaining engaged to questions and feedback throughout.

The training was well-received by the pre-school, which offers education to children between 2-5 years in the local Worksop area.

The school also volunteered to take flyers promoting Autism East Midlands additional services, such as Family Support Hubs.

Trainer Alice described the staff as “really warm, welcoming and ready to learn.”

Feedback included:

  • "Some useful training. Can implement ideas in setting. Spoke clearly and explained everything well. Thank you."
  • "Absolutely brilliant! Thank you. I will happily recommend to other settings in the area. Really informative and given lots of ideas and inspiration to put into practice."
  • "Thank you. This session was very informative and eye-opening. I felt there's no wrong answer and you were both there to help no judgement."
  • "The training was very informative and made me think about a lot of our children and their needs. Looking at ways I can help them with their development".
