We are looking for an experienced Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our team, who will be able to organise and lead on interventions for an identified cohort of our pupils, supporting their learning and progress to accelerate.

Sutherland House School is a non-maintained special school for autistic children and young people aged 3-19. The school is located in the heart of the Creative Quarter in the City Centre.

What will I be doing?
As a member of the teaching team, supporting by delivering learning interventions, you will play a critical role in the progress of pupils.
As part of this role, you will plan and deliver interventions in partnership with class teams, parents/carers and the school leadership team.
You will have the opportunity to work in collaboration with the wider organisation and ensure positive communication is maintained between all stakeholders within the school.
It is essential for you to be able to draw on a wide range of resources to plan and deliver individualised programmes of support for specified pupils, supporting their learning.
