Autism and Sleep Parent Workshop

Ice cream making at a Family Support Hub

We look at the potential impacts of sleep deprivation for your child.

We learn lots about body clocks and the different things that may affect sleep, such as:

  • Sleep environment
  • Routines
  • Anxiety
  • Sensory sensitivities

We also discuss melatonin, and how sleep diaries can help a parent work out a solution to their child or young person’s disturbed sleep
