At Autism East Midlands, we are constantly blown away by the dedication of our supporters by raising money to help us support autistic individuals, but Rachael’s story has left us speechless.

As she prepares to take on the London Marathon, Rachael has not only passed her original fundraising target but has also took fundraising to the next level.

When Rachael first committed to running for us at the London Marathon, she set a target of £1,500. We are thrilled to share that she has already smashed that goal, with the current total sitting at an incredible £2,284 and donations are still pouring in!

Donations like Rachael's will go directly towards supporting autistic individuals and their families across the East Midlands, ensuring they have access to the resources and community they need to help their loved ones to thrive.

Rachael didn’t stop at running. She's also:

  • Ran for cake, a 20 mile race in February
  • Completed the Welsh Marathon
  • Ran the Stevenage half marathon on Easter Monday, with a time of just over 2 hours

Every mile run and every cake sold makes a massive difference to the lives of those we support daily.
