Dukeries Autism Centre, Worksop

The Dukeries is an autism specific day service based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire offering a wide range of structured activities based on individual requirements and interests.

Our building is an easy to access single story building which has generously spacious rooms. It is within easy walking distance of Worksop town centre with access to many locally based facilities.

There is flexibility within the service for attendance between one and five days a week.

For those who require some support to maintain focus and achieve their goals. We are able to offer access to a wide range of community based activities, whilst providing the appropriate level of support individuals require.


The Dukeries Autism centre offers a broad and exciting programme of activities based around the service user’s individual needs and preferences.

  • Cookery and baking
  • Ten Pin bowling
  • Gardening
  • Art & crafts
  • Local and country walks
  • Communication cafe

Our experienced staff are trained to the highest of standards receiving a continuing training package with particular focus on the areas and needs of people with autism.

We will work with you to develop an individual programme of activities. We aim to help you develop skills by creating a structured timetable within a supportive environment. All our activities specifically focus on developing communication skills, social integration, confidence and independence.
