This four-day training course will provide significant exposure to what it takes to develop an exciting and satisfying career in Website Development. With experience, you could specialize in a particular area, like e-commerce or move up to a more senior role like lead programmer or project leader. You could also move into other IT fields, like systems analysis or IT project management.
Sessions are free and mostly run from 9:30am till 4pm. A free meal is provided alongside refreshments. Each attendee will receive support and guidance from a dedicated Graduate Digital Buddy, with autistic delegates receiving specialized support from Autism East Midlands. Limited work experience opportunities may also be available on successful completion of the training.

Autism Training for Practitioners
Who for:
Anyone who has an intensive contact with a person with autism or high impact on their personal outcome.
This course can also be delivered in-house or at a venue of your choice.
Synopsis:
This course provides an awareness of the autism spectrum. It provides learners with key areas of knowledge and explores important themes such as current thinking around diagnosis and prevalence, identifying individuals’ strengths and abilities, communication and information processing, recognising and supporting sensory issues, understanding anxiety and intensity of focus.
Duration: 6 hours
Cost: £50 + VAT per delegate for our in-house course, or £500 + VAT for an external course (up to 20 delegates)
