We are currently recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist -Team Lead for our adults services. The post is based in the clinical team office at AEM Headquarters in Creswell, Nottinghamshire with peripatetic support provided to the adult services across Nottinghamshire, North East Derbyshire and in Northampton based on service and service user needs.

We are looking for a highly skilled, empathetic, creative and motivated Speech and Language Therapist. A background of working with Autism, alongside associated learning difficulties and complex needs, social care services and experience of leading a team would be beneficial. We can offer you integrated service models of practice in a highly regarded and skilled team, CPD, and regular supervision. 

The Speech and Language Therapist Team Lead will focus on the communication support for a range of adult day, residential and supported living services, including assessment of communication needs, providing interventions, writing guidance, providing resources, offering advice and supporting staff training. The aim is to empower our service users and services through collaborative MDT working, including Speech and Language Therapy team, Clinical Psychology and Psychology Assistants, and the Head of Autism Practice.

We have 2 Clinical Teams which are hosted in adult and children’s services respectively. The Clinical Team includes Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy and their respective Assistants, and the Head of Autism Practice.
