We are looking for empathic, creative and skilled speech and language therapists to join our teams in Children or Adults services, with relevent experience working with children, young people and adults with Autism and learning disabilities. We can offer you MDT and integrated service models of practice in a highly regarded and skilled team, CPD, regular supervision and opportunites for progression.
Salary: AFC Band 6 Equivalent salary
Hours of Work: Permanent – full or part time hours will be considered/flexible working conditions
Annual Leave: 30 days (pro rata for part time)
Speech and Language Therapist, Band 6, Adult’s Service, providing speech therapy support into a range of adult day and residential services, including assessment of communication needs, providing a range of interventions, assessing communication needs and writing guidance, providing resources and advice and supporting staff training. Collaborative MDT working; including a Clinical Lead, SaLT Team Leader, full time Therapy Assistant, Clinical Psychology and Psychology Assistants . There is great value placed on a range of CPD and regular clinical supervision. This post is ideally suited to someone who has some experience of evidence based practice in autism and learning disabilities in care settings and is looking to further develop their knowledge and skills.
The post will involve travel between other sites within the organisation therefore it is essential that you are able to legally drive in the UK and have access to your own vehicle or use of a vehicle with full business use insurance cover.
