We are looking to recruit a Senior Maintenance Person to join our busy team at Autism East Midlands.
Full Time – 37 hours per week
Salary – £22,409 per annum
Daily working times are:
8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., Monday to Friday
25 days annual leave
We are seeking candidates who have good communication skills and a friendly and focused approach. The post holder will be involved in the repair, servicing and construction (where applicable) of a variety of fixtures, fittings and equipment together with buildings and site maintenance and decoration.
The successful candidate will have a background in property maintenance or construction with experience in carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair work to a professional standard. Be capable of making decisions in the absence of the Estates and Compliance Manager. Ideally hold a relevant maintenance qualification (building, joinery, health and safety, etc.) You must have a thorough understanding of the potential risks to health, safety and welfare encountered in maintenance work and you will be willing to undertake additional training to further your knowledge and skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Successful candidates will be professional in their approach to demonstrating courteous behaviour in the execution of their duties.
