Senior Administration Officer – Maternity Cover – 12 month contract


Hours: 37 hours per week

Sutherland House School is a specialist non-maintained day school for children and young people with autism between the ages of 3 and 19 years old. Based in the centre of Nottingham.

Salary: £20,317.00 – £22,871.00 per annum (Depending on experience)
37.0 hours per week
52 weeks per year

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Administration Officer who has a strong background in administration, the ability to respond positively to change and be effective in demanding situations. Covering maternity leave for a twelve month fixed term contract beginning in June, you will need to have highly developed organisational and administration skills, be an excellent communicator and have a fastidious attention to detail with customer service skills as standard. The role will provide administrative service to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in addition to holding responsibility for the admin team.

You will be involved in Quality Assurance, student referrals, student monitoring, plus working with external organisations, amongst other duties to provide a comprehensive and effective service to the school and Autism East Midlands. At times you may be required to work flexible hours. We offer relevant training and a personalised professional development plan. No two days will be the same, but with the friendly supportive team each day is memorable.

The successful candidate should be proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly excellence in Word and Excel.
