We are looking for an enthusiastic individual wanting to join an established finance team as a general account’s assistant focusing on processing petty cash transactions of the charity’s dispersed locations throughout the East Midlands. Your typical duties will be to take the petty cash transaction from expenditure analysis by use of spreadsheets, to recording summaries of expense type onto our Sage accounting system and completion of the associated reconciliations. Although this position is petty cash focused there will be a possibility to expand into other areas of the finance department. This is a great opportunity to develop professionally within a skilled finance team and gain valuable experience within this field. This is an office based role with the finance department at Head Office, you will be expected to liaise with other managers with the charity to fulfil the role, either through email or phone.
The candidates should have a demonstrable competency with numbers, an attention to detail and perform to a high level of accuracy, with good communication skills.
This role is initially for a period of six months however, there is potential this may be extended in the future.
