Fundraising Officer

Hours: Full Time - 37 hours per week
Closing date: Sunday, 1st March 2020

Autism East Midlands are seeking a Fundraising Officer to join our small but ambitious Fundraising & Marketing team who have achieved significant growth over the past year since our 50th anniversary. The successful candidate will play a vital role in this success by helping us raise our profile and raise funds in support of our work with individuals, families, and professionals affected by autism.

Salary:  25,500 per annum

Working as an integral member of the Fundraising and Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering programmes to develop the unrestricted income streams coming into the fundraising office. This will include the strategic development of our fundraising offer across a variety of fundraising disciplines, such as community & events, corporate, individual and major giving, and legacies. You will also work to develop the stewardship programme for the organisation. Depending on the experience of the appointed candidate, the role may also include line management responsibility for the graduate fundraiser.

This is an ideal role for an enthusiastic and creative fundraising professional to gain and broaden their existing experience at an organisation with significant reach and huge potential to develop. Most importantly of all you will have or be able to develop a genuine passion for our cause – raising awareness of autism and raising funds to improve the quality of life for autistic individuals.

This role requires frequent travel across the region to develop and maintain relationships with our partners. Our Head Office is located in Creswell, but it may be possible for the successful candidate to work flexibly from an existing Autism East Midlands location for some of the working week. Please enquire for further details.
