Clinical Psychologist


Hours: Permanent Part-time 0.6 wte*

We are currently seeking to employ a Clinical Psychologist with experience to work as part of the Therapeutic and Psychology Service within our Adult Services Clinical Team based at Creswell, near Worksop. The team currently includes Speech Therapy, Practitioner Psychology, Assistant Psychologists and a Therapy Assistant.

The team is an established, supportive, friendly and highly valued service within the organisation. Professional and Clinical supervision is integral to our approach. We are looking for an experienced, creative and skilled psychologist, with relevant experience working with people with Autism and learning disabilities. Roles and responsibilities include supporting the well established multidisciplinary team meetings with services, promoting the emotional well-being for people who access our services both at a service and individual level, working collaboratively to provide effective interventions, consultation and support for the people who use services, their families/carers and staff as well as providing supervision for the assistant psychologists’ work.

As well as formal supervision and CPD there are opportunities to work with colleagues across the wider Therapeutic and Psychology Team, including supporting strategic development across the organisation.

The Elizabeth Newson Centre sits within Sutherland House School and now offers assessments for young adults – there will be opportunities for working collaboratively with the staff in the Centre and the option to contribute to the diagnostic and assessment process as an addition to the role as and when required.

Salary: AFC Band 8 Equivalent salary (We would consider applicants within Band 7 depending on experience)
Hours of Work: Permanent Part-time 0.6 wte*
Annual Leave: 30 days per annual leave (pro rata)

The post will involve travel between other sites within the organisation therefore it is essential that you are able to legally drive in the UK and have access to your own vehicle or use of a vehicle with full business use insurance cover.
