Sutherland House School were visited by Bamboozle, who have over 25 years’ experience in developing high quality theatre designed to cater for the access needs of children with a wide range of learning disabilities.
On Thursday 17th January Sutherland House School were delighted to host three drama performances from the wonderful Bamboozle theatre company. The performance of ‘Storm’ is inspired by Shakespeare’s Tempest and designed to cater for the access needs of children and young people who are on the autistic spectrum.
Storm has been carefully designed to accommodate whichever level of AS students we have school. With haunting music and Bamboozle’s trademark interactive style Moon Song enchanted and engaged our students with a patient mix of interaction and invitation.
The talented team of artists are hugely experienced in engaging with students who have a variety of complex needs, and tailored interactions according to individual needs of the pupils.
Staff and students were in awe of Bamboozles’ performance and are very grateful to be chosen by Bamboozle to showcase their work.
We hope to see Bamboozle again in the near future.
