Airfield Anarchy is an acclaimed mud run with obstacle courses aptly named the Epic Weekend Challenge. Held this weekend at Winthorpe Airfield in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Father and daughter, Martyn and Jessica Boden, have decided to do all 3 events and raise money for Autism East Midlands. Martyn adds “Autism is something we, as a family knew very little about, until the youngest child in our family was diagnosed with it last year, little Ollie”.
The duo plan to complete the 5k Obstacle Race and after a short rest in the afternoon they will complete the 10k! On Sunday 11th June they will be returning to complete the 10 Mile Obstacle Race. Despite the huge challenge, they are doing it for a great cause and one that is important to both of them, Autism East Midlands.
So far, the duo have raised over £800 for Autism East Midlands and are looking to continue to smash their target. Please visit their JUST GIVING PAGE below for further information. The money raised from this event will support the charity to continue offering services to children and adults with autism, their families and professionals working in the field of autism.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish Martin and Jessica well as they take on this challenge – GOOD LUCK!
