For parents, carers and families:

Autism East Midlands has developed a range of training courses and workshops for the parents, carers, siblings and the extended families of individuals with autism of all ages. These range from short 2 hour workshops to 8 week courses and are designed to help you support and better understand your loved one.

For professionals:

Our training for professionals section is specifically designed to meet the needs of Health & Social Care workers, teachers, SENCOs, teaching assistants and other staff working closely with individuals with autism. We can also arrange for bespoke or ‘in house’ training for external organisations. Autism East Midlands training is delivered by quality assured professionals, qualified and experienced in their subject areas, covering a wide range of disciplines. Awarding bodies include City and Guilds, Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Autism East Midlands trainers are registered with the Institute for Learning.
